The hot fashion period has started in Moscow and as the Moscow Fashion Week opened on Sunday it showed that no monetary crisis could twist people away from fashion.
The organizers of Moscow Fashion Week, which is measured to be one the most noteworthy events in Russian fashion, said the event was not spoiled by the current disaster thanks to its associates and to the Moscow city government.
The Week opened with eminent Russian designer Valentine Yudashkin, whose Autumn-Winter 2009/10 collection was finished using mostly black, grey and white colors.
The organizers say that the 21st period of Moscow Fashion Week was intended to re-affirm Moscow as one of the worlds fashion capitals – imaginative, open to new ideas and having high business potential.
Every year Moscow Fashion Week attracts more then 120,000 guests from Russia and abroad, including designers, buyers, models and fashion critics.
