In festivity of Mother’s Day, Vogue TV Jade Parfitt (who is a mother herself), quizzed fashion’s A-list, asking them to share the most excellent advice that their mothers ever gave them.
The responses are as assorted as the recipients: Katie Grand’s mum taught her the all-important skill of knitting, sadly Giles Deacon could not repeat what his mum used to tell him on camera (we vow to get it out of him on next meeting), and Andreas Kronthaler’s mother advised him to “never say no to anything” and, so far, he hasn’t. Designer Henry Holland and model Alek Wek also share their protective insights.
