As we all knows, Miami is full of Joy….but its not only going to be models, catwalks, parties and awards at this year’s Miami International Fashion Week.
There’ll be some serious business going on too for fashion designers trying to crack this market.
Emerging designers all want the U.S. market,” said founder Beth Sobol. “We teach them how to do that. We have panels with information these designers don’t get – from legal to logistics.”
She added 450 buyers have registered for the fashion week as well as international media. “They all want new talent and that’s what we have,” said Sobol.
The 12th annual event start Monday, March 15th with cocktail parties. The runway shows start Thursday, March 18th in the evening showcasing evening wear, ready-to-wear, swimwear, men’s wear, jewelry and accessories until Sunday, March 21st.
it’s getting bigger and bigger with more and more designers from all over the world,” said Sobol. “I travel extensively working with a lot of fashion councils and fashion weeks. I’ve even gone to Pakistan and Sri Lanka. We’re getting designers from the Middle East, South America, parts of Europe and of course from the Caribbean and here in Florida.
